Gregory Austin's Bio
Education
Gregory Austin received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from CentralConnecticutStateUniversity, a Master’s degree in Management from Albertus Magnus in New Haven, CT., and a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from CapellaUniversity in Minneapolis, MN.
Experience
Dr. Austin had a varied career working in software, HIPAA compliance, and other positions for non-profit organizations in Connecticut. In 2011, he made a career transition and began teaching at Lincoln College of New England, and in August 2012 became the program director for the Early Childhood Education Program. Some months later in early 2013, Dr. Austin became the Department Chair for Social and Behavioral Sciences.
Professional Associations
Dr. Austin is a current member of the American Psychological Association’s Teaching of Psychology as well as the Society of Industrial-Organizational Psychologists. His interests include Positive Psychology and ways to make the workplace happier. He is also a licensed hypnotist in Connecticut.
